Rolling Element Bearings
Ball, roller, and needle bearings
Details
Rolling Element Bearings
Rolling bearings consist of an outer ring, rolling elements, and an inner ring. Because the components do not slide but roll over the rolling elements (balls, needles, rollers), they generate only a fraction of the frictional resistance of plain bearings. Grease and seals improve service life, corrosion resistance, and smooth-running. They are typically used in applications involving high-speed rotational movements that require a low starting/running torque. In addition to standard rolling element bearings, RWG offers customer-specific solutions for demanding requirements regarding operating temperature, speed, frictional torque, and loads.
